Obama’s White House is trying to “shut down” the Department of Homeland Security

Top Biden Cabinet officials warned by GOP to preserve records over border policy

As the Obama DOJ works hand-in-hand with the White House to “shut down” the Department of Homeland Security, at least three top DHS officials have been fired or forced out of office without any due process since Obama’s first days in office.

The list of departed officials includes top DHS executive John Kelly, who was named the president’s chief of staff, DHS’s acting secretary, Ben Carson, and the man who ran the agency’s secret prisons, former Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl. Kyl, on the basis of a dubious legal claim, oversaw the administration of at least 10,000 illegal immigrants in at least five different locations.

The Justice Department is also attempting to criminalize the department’s decision to release thousands of illegal immigrants into the Arizona desert without due process (not to mention the thousands who were never placed in jail).

Obama loyalists are also concerned about the damage the White House could do should the issue be publicized, as is the DHS agency’s role in the so-called “Fast and Furious” scandal.

On Sunday, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson fired back on ABC’s “This Week” with anchor George Stephanopolous, claiming that Democrats had been trying to criminalize his department for years, and that he would not be intimidated.

“That’s the one thing that they have been doing for years, and they’ve been doing it against people who have done the right thing, who have done the right thing by the law, who have protected the homeland,” Johnson claimed. “Their actions are going to be exposed to the American people in a very
