When her husband came home from work late on Jan. 18, 2018, he told his wife he was going to take a nap, but instead he hit her.
It was the start of a nightmare for Katie McAllister, who then filed for divorce. She claims the incident took place months ago and was never discussed with her.
In the ensuing months, McAllister said she was accused of being “drunk out of her mind” when she came to the Wimbledon Family Open. Her husband also accused her of trying to commit suicide because of his behavior.
Now, after months of trying to get a divorce from her husband, McAllister is suing him for divorce.
The couple, who have been married for 17 years, will appear in court in Austin, Texas, on June 21.
